Being an “adult” and having it all “figured out” can feel like a lot of pressure. What they don't tell you is the road to adulthood doesn't end when we graduate college... or even in the few years following. The truth is, for many of us it can take well into our 20s and 30s to understand who we are and what we want for ourselves.

Our Values

  • Authenticity

We’re not just therapists -- we are real people who have real relationships with our clients. True change in the therapy “room” starts with a genuine client-therapist relationship. We are so passionate about what we do because we have been through it ourselves and believe that lived experience allows us to truly understand and connect with the people we work with. Our clients count on us to be real and honest with them, bringing our authentic selves to the therapeutic relationship.

  • Person-First, Holistic Care

You are a human being, not a symptom or a diagnosis. We believe lasting change happens when you are treated as a whole, unique person, which is why we use a holistic and individualized approach to address all of the overlapping issues you may be facing.

We will help you make connections between the various areas of your life and how they impact one another. The good news is that this often means addressing one area translates to change in multiple parts of our lives as well.

  • Anti-Racism

We are dedicated to becoming an anti-racist therapy practice. All of our therapists participate in ongoing anti-racism and cultural responsiveness training. As therapists and humans, we take ownership of our privileges, engage with the discomfort, and actively seek learning and growth.

We recognize the impact of racial injustice and trauma and strive to create a safe space that centers the needs and strengths of those who have been oppressed and marginalized.

  • Growth

There is nothing we love more than partnering with our clients as they grow and change. And as much as we value growth for our clients, we know it is just as important for our therapists to grow personally and professionally.

All of our therapists are or have been in therapy themselves, so they have personal experience being in the other chair. We also engage in ongoing training to ensure we are providing high-quality and cutting-edge treatment to our clients.

  • Inclusion, Equity, & Accessibility

All people deserve equal access to high-quality, identity-affirming mental health care. We understand therapy can feel especially vulnerable and difficult for those with marginalized identities, and we aim to create a safe, healing space for all. All of our therapists are social justice-oriented, trauma-informed, LGBTQIA+ allied, and weight-inclusive (Health at Every Size).

Our mission is to continue playing an active role in the movement to destigmatize mental health issues and therapy. We strive to be an accessible mental health resource for all young adults.

  • Community & Collaboration

We prioritize creating a community-like experience for both our clients and therapists. The foundation for this is our team of clinicians who love what they do and fostering an environment where they are valued, allowing them to better serve their clients.

We view therapy as a partnership and use a highly collaborative approach. Our goal is to empower our clients to take active, concrete steps toward change, growth, and healing.

  • Innovation

This is an era when therapy does not have to be stuffy and old-fashioned. We provide a modern and progressive therapy experience, using evidence-based and innovative treatment approaches, interventions, and technology. We prioritize providing consistent training for our therapists to ensure their continued education and growth as clinicians.
